Sloped Stepper Reservoir

Sloped Stepper Reservoir

Sloped Stepper Reservoir is a reservoir module designed to hold a lot of balls and output them at the GBC standard of 1 ball per second. This module also has a built-in switch that will allow independently turning it on or off without affecting power to other modules in the layout.

There are multiple benefits to using a Reservoir module.

  1. Regulate ball flow. Put them at the start of your layout to absorb ball delivery from other modules. Whether the module before you is providing balls regularly or in big spurts, a reservoir module can regulate the ball flow to your own modules.

  2. Ball buffer for module repairs. If you experience a module breakdown, you can turn off the reservoir module to hold balls while you repair your module. The larger capacity will provide you with 3 to 5 minutes of repair time.

  3. Module testing. Use a reservoir module for feeding modules that you are building. Its large capacity and on/off switch allows you to continuously run your test module and feed it balls only as needed.

This module is a variation of the Sloped Stepper module.

The reservoir module is shown at the 1:00 mark of the Sloped Stepper video below.
